Initiated fund raising and relief efforts for typhoon and earthquake disaster victims in the Philippine together with Filipino Community of Laredo
Created Panel Discussions on sexual assault with community stakeholders through the TAMIU-SCAN grant from 2018 to present.
Created mock trials for sexual assault nurse examiners (SANEs), nurses, students and the community from 2018 to present
Established the TAMIU-SANE Program to Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) in Laredo Texas 2018 to present to address a critical shortage of SANEs in the community and lack of forensic care for sexual assault victims in Webb County.
