Feed My Starving Children MobilePack Core Team Host Leader & Event Planner, coordinating a core team of 20-230 people and the national contract to engage 500-plus volunteers packing at least 108,864 disaster-relief meals at each event at a cost of at least $23,950.00 for each event.
Team Leader for church-sponsored short-term mission with 6 months of weekly mission development. Part of a small team who built a feeding station la Chureca; provided teaching outlines for topics of bullying and violence for curriculum coordinators with Orphanetwork and the Casa orphanage; visited primary schools in Managua to practice English and read stories with children.
Toured a reconstructed village of the Taino Indian people, Indigenous inhabitants of the island at the time of contact with Columbus’s expedition, 15 December 1492
Toured (a) national historic site Fort Whoop-up, infamous for its role in whiskey trade with Blackfoot Confederacy and other First Nations people; (b) Galt Museum and Archives regarding history of Kainai people, as well as exhibits concerning the forced evacuation of Japanese heritage Canadians during WWII; (c) Galt Hospital, 1891-1955; (d) Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, UNESCO World Heritage Site, with exhibits, artifacts, and archaeological and historical film documentaries (e.g., Piskun—The Buffalo Jump)
